MoveFit Mama is Pocklington's most iconic dance fitness workout class that's specifically designed for mums at any age or stage of parenthood. 💪
What does that mean? It means all of our dance fitness workouts are boob, wee, and knee-friendly.
No matter where you're at in terms of your fitness, this is an entry level class with modifications always available so you can either keep it sweet, or, seriously turn up the heat! 🔥🔥
Anyone can benefit from these workouts, whether you're 8 weeks, months, or YEARS postpartum.
There's also no hard and fast rule that you have to be a mum whatsoever! The classes are simply designed in a way where if you are recently postpartum, you have found your new workout space.
With themed playlists such as Iconic Girl Groups, It's Britney B*tch or even Nawty 00's Dance Floor Fillers, these workouts focus on regaining strength in your pelvic floor and core, help build muscle in your booty and your legs, all whilst giving you the ultimate mood booster! 💁
Classes and playlists are completely in YOUR hands, so every three weeks we put out vote on our social media stories so that you can choose what we're getting down to! What you voted for is announced on social media and the classes are released in batches on our bookings page.

MoveFit Mama dance fitness classes are currently held at Burnby Community Hall in Pocklington, York.
The entrance is just before the gates to Burnby Hall and Gardens.
If you want to trial out a MoveFit Mama dance fitness class, you can sign up to the mailing list to receive your £1 trial class code.
After your trial, the classes are pay as you go at £5.50 each.
These workouts are for the mums and as much as we love our little snotty, sticky, shouty kiddos, sometimes we just need a break.
This is YOURS.
The music will be turn't up, and look, I've got to be honest - I've got a potty mouth when it comes it pumpin' you guys up! I LOVE all the places where you can bring your baby, but this one - she ain't it babes. This is your power hour girly.
If you've ever danced in your bedroom, at a club, or even simply swayed your hips with a hair brush lip-syncing into your mirror as a child, then you're already a pro.
Each workout consists of really simple steps that you can follow and modifications are always available. If in doubt, step it out, I say.
All you have to do is keep moving.
And if that means walking on the spot whilst belting out your favourite tunes? Then so bloody be it!

Everyone can benefit from these classes, there's no hard or fast rule that you need to be a mum. These dance workout classes are simply designed with postpartum mums in mind, so if you are recently postpartum, you've found your workout space. 🤗
We focus on workouts that are high intensity, low impact, and effective. Moves that can cater for breastfeeding boobs (or just blessed girlies with bigger busts in general) and no jumping, so that we're wee and knee friendly too. Plus - core and pelvic floor strength is beneficial to anyone at any time in their life.
So the short answer? No. You absolutely do not have to be a mum to join these classes!
You will be taught a series of basic steps per song and modifications will be demonstrated along the way.
So if you want to turn up the heat🔥and make it harder for yourself - you can do. Alternatively, if there's some moves you need to ease up on - that option is there for you too. You can even switch HALF WAY through the song if you want to.
You can tailor every single workout to you, your ability and goals.
This is YOUR workout after all, babe.
The moves are tailored and focused around restoring your core and your pelvic floor, as well as building muscle and tone back into your arms and legs. There's no fancy technical dance moves, it's all basic and effective movements with a sprinkle of sass! (I mean, come on, we can't do Mariah without a strut can we?!)
Every other week the classes will have a dedicated playlist theme. From movies soundtracks to Girl Groups, K-Pop or TikTok, Katy vs TayTay, we'll have a variety. Plus, by joining the mailing list you will get the chance to vote for what themes will come up next!
